Exceptional stay, we'll be back!

Spotless, spacious villa. Louise on WhatsApp was very helpful. Location was perfect for beach or restaurants and pubs. Couldn't fault the villa in any way, we'll be back again for sure.

Book through booking.com, and not direct with Villa Plus.

Generally clean and modern. Walkable to Marina. Welcome pack on arrival.

I booked Villa Tirma, via booking.com, for 7 nights over Christmas 2024. The property was manged by Villa Plus (VP). We were a party of 6 adults & wanted somewhere with 5 bedrooms so that, aside from my partner & I, everyone would have their own room. We initially had an issue with the deposit. Booking.com said it was €350 but VP insisted it was €450. It was hassle sorting this out as VP said they couldn't amend the amount on their website. The main issue we encountered on arrival was that one of the bedroom doors was locked with a sign saying authorized personnel only. We queried this with VP & were told that there had been heavy rain two days prior & that the ceiling was leaking as a result. We replied that we had been on the island for 4 days & there was definitely no rain during that period. We were then told we could use the room if we signed a legal disclaimer stating that VP wouldn't be liable for any incidents caused by the dodgy ceiling. Of course, we were not willing to sign this. They then said, in that case, there was nothing they could do. We also asked why we had not been informed of this matter prior to checking in. The lady said she didn't know. A few other issues were that the BBQ had not been cleaned, the fridge had a very foul smelling odour, & one of the shower doors was hanging off its sliding rail. We were told by VP to write a complaint but that this could only be done after we had returned home. In the interim, two people had to bunk up which was not ideal. We duly sent a complaint to both booking.com & VP. The former were very pro-active but told us VP wouldn't deign to offer compensation. We subsequently got a 20% pro-rata refund from booking.com. VP, after a lot of hassle, also eventually offered a partial refund. To anyone contemplating booking this Villa, I would advise doing it through booking.com. You then have another level of protection, from a known & trusted brand.
