BOOKING ne précise pas que l’Hôtel se situe sur l’avenue piétonnière Qianmen dont l’accès se fait en passant un poste de contrôle de police et qu’aucune voiture (taxi inclus) ne peut approcher. En chemin, mon taxi d’aéroport a téléphoné à l’hôtel pour convenir qu’un employé m’attendrait dans une rue proche. Heureusement car dans la foule de 18h, avec 200 m à parcourir, je me serai perdue. Pour quitter l’hôtel j’ai été aussi accompagnée pour trouver le taxi qui m’attendait à l’extérieur. J’ai donc énormément apprécié l’aide de cet hôtel. Merci.
La chambre (3e étage), simple mais avec une excellente literie. La vue était magnifique le soir sur les édifices illuminés de la place Tiananmen, mais s’il y avait un balcon, la porte-fenêtre était bloquée et les vitres sales, ce qui gâchait un peu le spectacle.
L’avantage de cet hôtel est son emplacement : au début de la rue Qiamen, au pied du métro (facilité de déplacement), et entouré de magasins et de restaurants, en face de la place Tiananmen bien qu’il faille faire un grand détour à pied pour atteindre le 1er contrôle de police pour son accès.
Il a fallu plus de 30 min à un technicien pour brancher la wifi dans ma chambre le soir de mon arrivée ce qui m'a paru long après 24 h de voyage. Le bruit venant de la rue, comme de l'entrée/sortie du métro commence tôt le matin et se termine tard le soir. La nuit ce sont les clients de l’hôtel qui courent, crient dans les couloirs, mais aussi des camions-bennes (?) venant vider les poubelles vers 3h du matin qui font beaucoup de bruit. D’ailleurs l’hôtel fourni des bouchons d’oreilles ! Donc il faut choisir entre un emplacement idéal et beaucoup de bruit. La photo de l'hôtel sur le site Booking.com n'est pas réaliste; c'est pourquoi j'ai indiqué que l'établissement ne correspondait pas à mon attente.

A localização é muito boa. Bem
Próximo a praça da paz celestial e do Qianmen street que é uma rua de pedestre bem muvucada, com várias mercados, lojinhas. Só atentar que carro, não chega em frente a hotel, por ser uma área de pedestres, mas tem uma estação de metrô em frente a ele.
O espaço em si é estranho, a recepção do hotel fica do lado da rua, mas depois para subir aos quartos você passa nos fundos de um restaurante que fica ao lado, o hotel fica num grande galeria de comércio. Meu quarto não tinha janela, creio que muitos não devam ter, e os corredores do andar são cheios de desníveis e escadas, para carregar mala e uma dificuldade a mais.

Located right outside Qianmen subway station, this hotel offers unbeatable convenience. Surrounded by plenty of eateries and souvenir shops, it’s also within walking distance to Tiananmen Square. The room was clean and well-maintained, and the housekeeper was responsive to adhoc requests like extra bath towels. If you choose a room with a view, you’ll be treated to a beautiful sight of Zhengyang Gate (正阳门). A great base for exploring Beijing with no shortage of food options nearby. A vibrant place to stay and be soaked in the vibes.
There’s no car drop-off directly in front of the hotel. Need to alight at the main street and walk in. The hotel is a low-rise, 4-storey building, so noise from the shops and businesses downstairs can carry up, especially if you’re a light sleeper.
We booked two rooms, including a Twin Room (L) with a window view. However, upon check-in, we were given a room without window. It was disappointing that we had to justify our booking and some back-and-forth before they eventually “upgraded” us to a room that should have matched our original reservation.
Saw a guest smoking inside the lobby, which isn’t ideal, especially for families with young children. Additionally, there’s no ramp at the entrance, so you’ll need to lift your luggage or stroller up a 3 steps. Not a major issue, but something to be aware of.
