It was a remote location, with fantastic views from the pool. The place is well thought out with lots of different spaces, so depending on what you like (sunbathing in full sun/shade/under an umbrella, eating indoors or outdoors) it’s catered for. The remote location means you can’t just pop to the shops, but the host, Iannis, was brilliant and gave us a lift to and from the beach where the water taxi dropped us off.

I loved the quiet location, the walk the Voutoumi Beach, the rustic authentic Greek feel of the villa, the outside space, the friendly cats and the lovely helpful owner Giannis, who also runs the Taverna on Voutoumi Beach which is handy.
Staying on Antipaxos means you can be on the beach when the day visitors haven't arrived (by about 10am) or when they leave (about 4.30pm) so you have the place to yourself mostly then. The two main beaches are just stunning.
There's a local ferry from Paxos (for €1.50): It leaves from Zefis travel office in central Gaios, 9.30am and 4.30pm and goes to Antipaxos harbour (Agrapidia). Only on Monday, weds, thurs and Friday in high season. It's only 10 min walk to villa from there, but Giannis arranged a lift for us with our luggage anyhow at earlier check in. The return ferry is about 30 mins after it leaves Paxos, so 10am and 5pm.
