Quite stressful stay

The experience at the property itself became quite stressful, and I was not fully happy with my stay. I am sharing this feedback in the hope that it helps improve the experience for future guests. I experienced a significant issue with the front door on arrival. I was unable to enter the apartment as it was extremely difficult to open. I contacted the number provided and received replies, which I appreciate, but I was mainly advised to keep trying despite repeated unsuccessful attempts. As it was very hot and I had just arrived, this was quite stressful. I also requested on-site assistance but was informed it could take about an hour or more. After continued effort, I eventually managed to open the door. On a separate occasion, I again struggled to open the door and was unable to enter, which made me think it may have been locked from the inside at some point. This raised concern that the issue may not only be mechanical but also related to how the door is being used. In addition, I noticed that the wall-mounted wooden shelf beside the bed, where the lamp is placed, was already damaged and leaning downward. It seemed unstable and could fall with minimal force, so it should be repaired before the next guest arrives to avoid potential damage to belongings or injury. Overall, I believe improvements in access instructions, door handling, and maintenance checks would greatly enhance the guest experience. I also hope future guests are informed not to lock the door from the inside, as it can prevent access to the room and cause unnecessary inconvenience. This could be especially problematic in situations where a guest needs to return quickly for something important, such as medication. I was fortunate to have friends staying nearby who were able to assist me during the situation.

Good price for one night and central location

Fantastic location central to marina and within walking distance to train station.

No aircon in room. It was too hot and led to an uncomfortable night of not sleeping. Also the key in the safe was the key to another room so couldn’t access the main door. Another guest had to let me in.

Great quick stay after a late flight into Faro airport

Lots of information and clear instructions; property was as described and well located

Sound proofing is not great - bring ear plugs

De kamer met terras was super! Ruim, netjes, wifi, handdoeken, rustig, airco,....
