It was conveniently situated for the airport. A 15 minute taxi ride in the morning. We arrived at about 7.00pm and found a really great restaurant about 12 minutes walk from the property called Lefka. The food there was really good. It is owned by a Greek couple who do the cooking. The sea bream grilled was delicious. The service very attentive. My partner has celiac and they took great care over this. The apartment is quite new, super clean, spacious, tea, coffee available and other little snacks. Care has been taken here. The host was very accommodating. When I messaged them they responded very quickly.
This wasn't the fault of the host but we had a bad taxi experience. We asked the host to arrange a pick up from the airport to bring us to the property. We were arriving by ferry into Piraeus and then needed to get from the port to the airport and then to the property so asked for a taxi from the airport. The ferry was delayed, the metro was delayed. We sent messages on WhatsApp to our taxi driver to keep him informed. Some delay in him receiving the messages as we were stuck in the Metro with no signal. So when we got to the pick up point we were 1.5 hours late. The taxi driver had left to take another job and then came back for us. All good so far. We didn't mind waiting for him as he needed to go and take another job. he arrived, was friendly and took us to the property. He then said that the fare was 40.00 euros, not the 30.00 euros quoted. We challenged the additional 10.00 euros and were told it was because he had to wait for us. We continued to challenge and I then spoke with a woman at the taxi office. She was initially insistent we pay the additional 10.00 euros. After some further discussion she agreed to waiver this. We then paid the additional 10.00 euros anyway as a goodwill gesture. I don't think that I would stay at this apartment again because of this. The apartment was great. The taxi experience quite upsetting and stressful.

Beautiful accommodation with all the amenities you could need. Check in was very easy, and the host provides a really helpful booklet with lots of useful information about the accommodation and surrounding area. The host also replies incredibly quickly and was very helpful throughout my stay.
Overall, the accommodation is beautiful, very well equipped and thoughtfully presented, and the host is exceptionally responsive and helpful.
There were a few things that were disappointing. The room listing states that there is a sea view, but unfortunately my room did not have one as the view was blocked by a building, which felt misleading and was disappointing.
The shower drain was also blocked during my stay, which made using the shower less convenient.
Late check in is available, which is a great option if you need to arrive late. However, as a solo traveller, I found the extreme noise from the accommodation below after midnight quite unsettling. The noise was so loud and prolonged that I genuinely felt as though someone might be breaking into the property and I nearly called the police. I contacted the host, who replied incredibly quickly and explained that a family had checked in late.
I completely understand that late arrivals are outside the host’s control and I really appreciated the prompt response and reassurance. Quite hours are stated in the booklet but I know this is not always feasible when checking in later or with children. However, the noise meant that I slept for less than three hours and, as a solo traveller, I felt quite unsafe and unsettled at the time. It is therefore something I think future guests should be mindful of. Late check in is a great facility if you need it, but depending on the guests arriving below, it could potentially be disruptive if you are looking for somewhere quiet to sleep.
