Great!

We liked the location, which was excellent. The house was very clean and correct with lots of space. It was really convenient to have a parking space in right by the house in the middle of the city.

The great location also contributed to some sounds during night when people were on their way home from the bars in the area.

Good location and easy to walk to everything.

The apartment was lovely and met our expecations. It was. spacious, comfortable, and worked perfectly for our group of ten people. We had a wonderful stay and would happily recommend it to others.

Ok for a weekend if you want to party - not great for a family

The home was very spacious and has a nice authentic feel to it. We are a family of 7 including two small children and the space worked well for us. The kitchen was reasonably well equipped. The location was great - we could walk everywhere from the house. But there was a major downside to this …

There were many issues that we had with our stay - some of which was not able to be controlled by the owner/managers but they needed to do more to make it work for us. We were there for 8 nights - and it was not inexpensive to stay there. Basics were not provided in terms of handwash, soap, shampoo etc. One hotel style var of soap in each bathroom lasted a day. We were there for the European heatwave. Unfortunately only the top three bedrooms were air conditioned and there were no fans provided. That in itself would have been bearable if we could have opened all the windows on the second level (2 bedrooms). But we could not due to street noise from Lubbers. The central locations means that there are a number of bars and clubs on the street that do not shut until 3 am 4 nights a week and 1am on Wednesdays. The noise from the partiers was unbelievable at didn’t stop until 5 or 6am. So all windows and shutters had to be shut with earplugs in - so we sweltered and were very grumpy by the end! The owners did not provide fans when requested nor extra towels and tea towels. It could have been perfect….
