Heather Nook is very comfortable and cosy. The finish is to a high standard. It has everything you need if you want to stay in to eat although we didn’t do that. It’s location was ideal as it was only a short walk into the centre of town ( albeit the walk back does involve an uphill walk probably not best done in heels!) Has its own parking space which is a bonus.
If you are likely to be woken up when the sunrises I would recommend taking an eye mask as there is one skylight without a blind and the glass panels on the doors, although are frosted, don’t have blinds either. Wasn’t an issue for us but worth noting.

Heather Nook was absolutely lovely with everything you could need. Warm, cosy, really comfortable bed and a few minutes walk from the centre of Pitlochry.

Loved the Nook. It was very comfortable and clean. Town and transport were within walking distance. Easy to get around the area by train (but timetables are a bit limited). The hosts appeared when I arrived and helped open the lock box. Very kind that a bottle of bubbly, ground coffee, sugar, and tea were provided. The Nook is in a residential area above town so it is very quiet. Skylights made it light and had easy shades to cover when you didn't want the light. Easy to get to Blair Atholl - a lovely castle and grounds.
The parking spot is right in front of the Nook's front window. Nice if you have driven but I hadn't. Yet I looked out at someone's SUV and people coming and going. Not a big deal but would have liked a view. Clever blinds did provide some privacy. Heads-up that the Nook is on a hill so you will have an uphill walk with your bag if arriving on foot. The host was kind to advise me on the least steep climb from town before I arrived.
