Wustrow used to be called “Swante Wustrow,” a name derived from the Slavic language that means “Holy Island.” The name traces back to a Slavic sanctuary that once stood on the hill where the church is located today. At that time, Wustrow was indeed still an island between the Baltic Sea and the Bodden. The former fog station in Wustrow was once used to ensure safe navigation. When visibility was poor, fog signals were transmitted from here to warn ships off the coast and help them navigate. Today, the site serves as a reminder of the seaside resort’s maritime history.

Welcome to the Baltic Sea resort of Wustrow,



This cozy vacation home, built in the regional style, was constructed with great attention to detail.
Spanning two floors, it offers approximately 90 square meters of space—enough for up to 4 people.
The vacation home has Wi-Fi.

On the first floor is the bright and spacious living room with a dining area. The comfortably furnished kitchenette is equipped with an oven with a built-in microwave, a dishwasher, an espresso machine, a kettle, and a toaster.

The wood-burning stove provides cozy warmth during the colder months. You can purchase firewood from nearby retailers (e.g., Edeka, Toom hardware store).

Also located on the first floor is the bathroom with a large shower and toilet, as well as a separate guest restroom.

On the spacious terrace, you can enjoy a leisurely breakfast in peace or watch the sunset in the evening.


The two bedrooms on the upper floor are accessible via a beautiful wooden staircase. The first bedroom is furnished with a double bed measuring 1.60 x 2.00 m, and the second bedroom has two single beds, each measuring 0.90 x 2.00 m. Bed linens and towels are, of course, included.

Throughout the house, you’ll find thoughtfully designed built-in closets providing plenty of storage space during your stay.

Please note that due to the thatched roof, barbecuing and lighting open fires are prohibited on the entire property!



Unless an appropriate charging infrastructure (wallbox) is available at the rental property and provided to guests by the landlord, charging electric vehicles and bicycles via standard household electrical outlets is prohibited. Please note that in the event of a violation, the user is liable for any damage caused to the building’s electrical connection and the rental property and must reimburse the landlord for any electricity used without authorization.
There are public charging stations for electric cars and electric bicycles in Wustrow
