Pure poetry.
About a couple of kilometers away are the center of Parzanica, a charming historic village with the Romanesque Church of the Holy Trinity, and the hamlet of Acquaiolo with numerous rustic-style houses. A little further away is Tavernola Bergamasca, a charming lakeside town with a beautiful medieval historic center and all amenities.
Just over an hour from Milan, Bergamo, and their respective international airports, Tavernola Bergamasca stands out for its picturesque lakeside promenade, featuring medieval views and settings, most notably the Fenaroli Tower, which dominates the town. Across the lake lies Montisola; to the south, the road runs along the lakeshore for several kilometers, making the area an oasis surrounded by water. Heading north toward Lovere—one of Italy’s most beautiful villages—you must take the road that runs along the Bogn Gorge, with its natural arches. A short distance away are the Franciacorta wineries, the Presolana Massif for high-altitude hikes, Valcamonica for archaeological tourism with its 300,000 rock engravings, the slopes of Colere and Monte Pora for hiking and skiing, and Boario for its thermal baths.
