Found condoms and trash under my bed
The inside of the apartment building is pretty and the bathtub is big.
I want to discuss how terrible the host was regarding their handling (or lack there of) of an issue we experienced related to non-handicap people parking in handicap spots in the parking garage and how they told me I could go and complain to other people because there wasn’t anything they could do. However, they asked me to focus on the apartment, so I’ll do that even though it’s not much better.
Before we get into the typical complaints of Airbnb host, let’s talk about the fact that when I was doing my “double check” of the apartment before leaving the apartment, I check under the bed I slept in to see if there was anything left behind and I see a brown paper bag under the bed. I had just returned from overseas, so I assume it was something of mine, but didn’t recognize it. So I opened the bag to find a box of Trojan Bareskin condoms. Thank God they were unopened, but I still cannot believe that this host clearly didn’t clean after the last guests checked out.
I wonder if the previous guests had sex in that same bed and the host didn’t actually clean or change the bedding.
Now onto the boring stuff. Like a balcony that had the handle broken off and taped over so you couldn’t access the balcony. The ceilings and even some of the walls are simply exposed concrete. Pipes, air ducts, etc. all exposed. The washer/dryer combo is small and required multiple runs through the dryer to actually get dry. Walls were all scuffed up, too. Beyond the apartment itself, the elevators are slow and you have to press the buttons multiple times before it actually stays lighted up.
Only good thing about this apartment is the bath tub.
