The entire staff was very friendly and accommodating from before we even arrived and continued in that manner throughout our stay. The property itself is absolutely beautiful, nestled between karst mountains in the heart of Trang An, with the river flowing by at its edge. You couldn’t ask for a more scenic location in Ninh Binh.
Only small thing is that the hot water would occasionally not work. But it was normally so humid that colder showers were anyway the preference, so it didn’t really bother us. The rest of the stay more than made up for it.

Everything about Trang An Luxury Homestay felt carefully considered. The atmosphere is wonderfully relaxed: a serene setting with lush plants everywhere, soft music in the background, and thoughtful touches that show real care in how the place was designed. The staff were genuinely helpful, inclusive and attentive without ever being intrusive. They were always ready with advice and quick to help with whatever we needed. Scooter and bicycle rental on site made it easy to head out and explore at our own pace. The location is perfect: quiet and peaceful, yet ideally placed for exploring Ninh Binh.
Honestly, nothing. We couldn’t fault a single thing during our stay.

The homestay was comfortable, and there were plenty of services available - however all at an additional cost which was higher than average.
The breakfast service was good, and there was a good variety. We enjoyed the extra seasonal fruits they served
The room itself was tidy and had a spacious bathroom. Although all towels had multiple small stain, and coffee cups were also dirty.
Given the cost, comparatively to the many other home stays in the same location, it did not seem like the best option in hindsight. We would likely not book here again primarily due to value. Laundry service was more expensive than available in the local city. Customer service fluctuated, we saw individuals being treated with differing levels of respect.
Early check in cost a fee of 200,000k. Many other places we stayed in the country had free early check in.
Towels in the bathroom did have multiple small stains, and coffee cups were also dirty.
Location itself is quite nice, although it is very inconvenient to travel into the main city or Tam Coc (15-25min taxis).
