We've rented many different places in Fairhaven (where I grew up) when visiting from Canada to see family/friends over the years. Julie is THE best Host we have ever encountered here! She addressed every need/request with speed/thoughtfulness/kindness.. from the new AC system adjustment (perfectly running in time for blessed relief from the Heat Dome that hit the area during our stay)..to her patient help w/TV tech..to watch the World Cup. Saltmarsh is more than conveniently located to anything you might need/want to do in the area. The magnificent Fairhaven Town Beach on West Island is just a 10-min ride down Sconticut Neck Rd (Julie kindly provided a parking pass). To our delight, 2nd-fl deck (front corner)provided unexpected privacy with its view of ocean/small section of beach across the street. The neighborhood is quiet with lots of dog-walkers(all using leashes). Very family-friendly area. Saltmarsh is just as pictured online. Very clean. Beautiful decor. Plenty of room w/comfortable seating & beds, lg dining table for family/guests, fast new W&D, whisper-quiet DW. We even watched the coastal area July4th fireworks from Inside in AC ! I will advise, if you are old/have balance issues: the number of stairs, outside and in, may be challenging (But there are sturdy wood railings on all stairways). We were so lucky to stay at Saltmarsh this time visiting & meet Julie/Joe when they came to help w/AC & w/our old-people tech issues. Wonderful folks and wonderful place!

This was my 2nd stay at this property. Inviting, feels like a home away from home. The property is lovely and has all the amenities you need to stay for a proper vacation. Quiet, but friendly neighborhood. Close to beaches and shopping. Even took in a concert at the Xfinity Center during one of my stays, and the drive was nothing. Finally, can’t beat the breeze while sitting on the porch. Best part of my stay.

Cute house, good location. Neighborhood is very quiet and nice. A live band played one night, 2 doors down, we sat outside and listened for a while. Once we went inside we never heard it.
We came from Texas and brought the miserable heat with us. There is no central air but window units for the bedrooms. They didn’t keep up well with the heat but the bedroom was bearable. Sitting downstairs was a definite not happening. We did end up moving the a/c from the bedroom we weren’t using, downstairs and that helped very little.
The shower felt amazing. The town was super cute and we enjoyed it.
