If you want to get away from the more touristy side of Zanzibar and simply enjoy nature, peace and beautiful surroundings, this is the perfect place to come! 🌴
The staff are absolutely lovely, helpful and welcoming, the food is amazing, and the villas and the views are just insane. Everything about this place makes you slow down, relax and enjoy the moment.
For us, it was the perfect break we needed in between our travels. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to recharge and enjoy the beauty of Zanzibar. Would 100% recommend! ❤️

Difficile sintetizzare cosa ci è piaciuto: il Monkey Mountain Lodge è stata la più bella e autentica struttura in cui abbiamo soggiornato a Zanzibar. La camera con vista sugli alberi di baobab con le scimmie che all'alba si arrampicavano è stato indubbiamente ciò che più ci è rimasto nel cuore. Un luogo autentico e incontaminato.
La colazione e tutti i pasti che abbiamo potuto gustare erano tutti molto buoni, realizzati con materie prime di qualità e con una grande cura al dettaglio.
La camera arredata con estremo gusto, materiali e arredi in linea con il contesto e un affaccio sul bosco meraviglioso. Soggiornare in una camera completamente in mezzo alla natura ci ha fatto riconnettere con il silenzio, con i soli rumori degli animali intorno.. è stato come immergersi nella foresta e vivere ammirando ciò che la anima.
Il personale della struttura gentile, disponibile, sempre attento!

Nous avons passé 5 nuits de rêve dans un endroit où tout est parfait .
Que ce soit la qualité des équipements, de la qualité des repas , l’emplacement du lieu qui est perché au milieu de nulle part mais aussi la gentillesse du personnel !!
Une mention spéciale pour japheth qui a rendu notre séjour incroyable par sa gentillesse et ses attentions :)
Les coupures de courant presque tout les soirs ce qui engendrait une perte de débit pour la douche

Amazing stay. Beautiful establishment on top od the hill sourranded by forest full of monkeys. Beautiful cottege, amazing shower, terrace with table, chairs and bed to relax, watch wildlife and sunrise/sunset.... Beautiful restaurant, wonderful views, great food, admiring bush babies while having a dinner.
This was the best stay on the island! Because it was special and different to other establisments in the best possible way.
Very close to get to the local beach. My son did not want to leave, especially because of the local "semi-wild" monkey JoJo.
Wonderful, kind staff working there. Suzi is amazing.
It is costly compared to other places we have been, but understandable considering it is built on top of the hill so they must have had to invest more to do it properly!
Still I would recommend to stay at least 2 days to have a special experience this place offers! You won't regret it!!!!!
