Je mets 10/10 pour la gentillesse des hôtes. Nous avons même prolongé notre séjour de deux jours ! Ils nous ont fait découvrir la culture locale et nous nous sommes sentis comme à la maison.
Ils nous ont préparé un petit déjeuner adapté à nos envies, loué les masques pour l’ascension de l’Ijen et même préparé un goûter pour la montée. Nous avons aussi partagé de beaux moments avec eux : carnaval, danses barong et marché local.
Si vous souhaitez vivre une véritable expérience locale, vous êtes au bon endroit ! ✨
Vous n’êtes pas dans un hôtel 5 étoiles : la chambre a des fenêtres ouvertes sur l’extérieur qui ne se ferment pas. Nous n’avons eu aucune bête ni moustique, mais c’est quand même un point à prendre en compte dans votre choix d’hébergement.
Ici, la vie commence tôt, donc si vous ne voulez pas être réveillé(e), les boules Quies seront vos meilleures amies.

If you want to experience rural Indonesian life, here's the place! Wonderful homestay with a friendly older couple. They don't speak English, but we had really interesting conversations with Google translate. Purwadi showed me around the town, we visited his relatives and went to a big local festival together (Kebo-Keboan). Had a lot of fun!
The room in the upper floor is spacious and clean, there's a "veranda" with a table and a private bathroom.
Prolonged my stay twice as I liked it so much.
While the food is delicious, in can get quite repetitive. The mosque is quite near, so I got woken up around 4am every morning.
