Our host picked us up from the train station and dropped us off during a rainy morning. The space was large and very comfortable, even with a desk. The kitchen was fully stocked which virtually never happens in Japan's business-run accommodations. Our host went above and beyond to make us comfortable. The location was also extremely close to a large supermarket. Fukui is also a lovely town close to Awara, a spa-centre and the amazing Eiheiji temple complex, all accessible via public transport. It was such a change from the tourist crowds of Kyoto and Hiroshima.
