Disappointing experience. We specifically booked and paid extra for a particular room, only to be given a smaller, lower-standard room that smelled of damp. There were moisture-extracting devices in the room, suggesting the hotel was already aware of the issue. When raised with reception, we were simply told, "Maybe it's a mistake," and that our booked room was unavailable. No suitable resolution was offered. The hotel also advertises a breakfast buffet, but it's actually a made-to-order menu, which is misleading. Overall, the customer service team were great, however the accommodation itself was very disappointing. We certainly didn't receive what we booked and paid for.

Restaurant closed. Attic room in annex situated at top of flight of stairs. Lock broken. Locking and unlocking door at top of horizontal flight of stairs felt unsafe. Neither Hotels.com or hotel could offer another room. Good breakfast but had lost my appetite on account of the above

Very nice place to stay, convenient, safe and spacious

10 / 10Outstanding·Oct 2025

The rooms are scattered in an area that is a 5 minute walk to the heart of town for the farthest rooms. There seemed to be plenty of on street parking-some in pay spots (.60 euro/ hour) and some in free spaces. Our room was very spacious with a small kitchen, a jacuzzi bath & even a rooftop sitting area. Breakfast was a typical European continental breakfast but the croissants, cakes and pastries were fresh & very good.

It’s a beautiful peculiar small room similar to a trullo. Great amenities and hot tub
