About this apartment rental
A relaxing getaway at the “Green Volcano.” The Hotel Spatzennest has 18 beds and is located on the outskirts of Herbstein with a view of the countryside. The two bungalows, set in the beautiful garden, have been converted into four modern, comfortable apartments, some of which are wheelchair accessible. The main building houses two additional apartments. There’s also the cozy, converted barn—the “FreiRaum”—which can be used for meetings, conferences, seminars, or celebrations, as well as the guest lounge—all lovingly furnished. Stroll through the natural, flower-filled garden, discover impressive rock formations, try out the barefoot trail, or enjoy the peace and quiet and the chirping of birds on the lawn under the old trees. For cozy get-togethers, an outdoor swivel grill or the covered Finnish KOTA grill are available. Of course, you can securely store your e-bikes in the lockable bike garage or charge your electric cars. Explore the many biking and hiking trails right on your doorstep, enjoy the thermal waters of the Vulkantherme, unwind, and let your mind wander.
We offer various additional services, such as breakfast (adults 15 EUR, children ages 3–9 8 EUR, non-hotel guests 18 EUR), dogs (12 EUR/night per pet), baby crib (15 EUR/night), extra bed (30 EUR/night), cozy bathrobe/sauna towel (10 EUR/person), late check-out until 2:00 p.m. (20 EUR/apartment), laundry service (8 EUR per load), and much more. Just ask or specify this when booking.

This apartment is located in a bungalow that also houses a second Classic Apartment. The entryway is therefore shared by both apartments. Of course, you have your own sleeping area and your own bathroom with a floor-to-ceiling shower. The two 90-cm beds can be pushed apart or together. From the bed, you have a direct view of the garden.
The kitchenette, shared with the second apartment, is located in the entryway outside the apartment. Enjoy a generously stocked minibar, snacks (for a fee), free coffee (Caffissimo capsules) and tea, a kettle, a microwave, a 2-burner stove, and kitchen utensils. A covered terrace invites you to relax.
Crib available upon request (for a fee).
