About this cottage rental
Stay at No.2 Lower School Cottages, a spacious character cottage situated in the coastal town of Minehead close to Exmoor National Park.
The cottage has lovely comfortable, home from home styling with living/dining room, and a superbly equipped excellent kitchen with large range cooker. The cottage oozes quality and has been well designed with hi-end fixtures and fittings throughout. You’ll find all modern amenities needed for a self-catering stay including dishwasher, microwave, oven, fridge/freezer and washer/dryer.
A king-size master en-suite, and a single bedroom together with a separate bathroom with a free-standing bathtub, complete the accommodation.
Outside there is a south facing, private decked area with garden furniture and awning providing lovely views from this elevated position above town. The cottage benefits from private parking for two cars.
Advantageously located very close to the sought after the coastline and beaches, Minehead has long been known as "The Gateway to Exmoor" - it's a beautiful place to explore at any time of the year. With a range of things to do for all ages, Minehead is a fantastic seaside destination with a fishing quarter and historic harbour, and a varied selection of tea rooms, pubs and independent shops. It is the terminus of the West Somerset Steam Railway and the Exmoor Coaster, an open top bus, runs to Lynmouth/Lynton and on to Ilfracombe in the summer. The South West Coast Path starts in the town and there are numerous walks over North Hill from the cottage door. Dunster Castle (National Trust) is within a couple of miles.

We had a fantastic week stay spotlessly clean cottage everything you need for a very comfortable stay . Walk distance to Shops + Restaurants . Did lots of beautiful walks on Exmoor used the Exmoor Coaster and West Somerset Railway,Great day in Lynmouth + Lynton and beautiful Dunster.One of the best cottage we have stop at we will definitely me back next year Thank you

Very specious cottage in a peaceful location with own off road parking areas. Would definitely recommend this beautiful cottage. Lovely to be able to walk in about 12 mins to harbour and shops and steam railway and bus stops which meant didn't have to use car all week.
Door into bathroom from main bedroom really awkward as so little space, would have thought it would make life easier if door was reversed to open into bedroom or a sliding door replaced it. Other than that perfect , thank you

Returning for a second year it was as if a year hadn’t passed and it felt welcoming to a second home
