About this house rental
The "Steuerbord" half of this completely renovated thatched-roof house offers 124 m² of space for up to seven people. “Steuerbord” is located on a secluded street at the edge of a field—the perfect place to escape the stress of everyday life! The living and dining room is cozily furnished and opens onto the south-facing terrace, which offers a wonderful view of the countryside. The south-facing garden is exclusively for the use of this half of the house and includes a grill. On colder days, you can cozy up in the living room in front of the hyggelig Danish fireplace and stream your favorite series on the flat-screen TV. The kitchen opens onto the living and dining room and is fully equipped. This historic semi-detached home, built in 1895, features two spacious bathrooms with natural light and showers—one on each floor. The former hayloft on the upper floor has been converted into a dreamy sleeping area. One bedroom is furnished with a double bed (180x200 cm) and a wardrobe. The other bedroom features a loft bed and a single bed (both 90x200 cm), providing space for up to three children, and also includes a dresser. To ensure restful nights, both bedrooms are equipped with blackout curtains. Additionally, the sofa bed in the living room (180x200 cm) can be used as an alternative sleeping option. For a vacation with multiple generations or a getaway with friends, the other half of the house, “Backbord,” or the guesthouse “Captain’s Lodge”—also located on the property—is an ideal choice. In total, up to 17 people can vacation together at “Fjord Cottage.”
