About this apartment rental
Our air-conditioned vacation rental is located right on the Werratal Bike Trail and is on the top floor of our residence. It can accommodate up to 4 adults. The apartment has been furnished with great care and measures approximately 80 m². It features a fully equipped kitchen (electric stove, oven, exhaust hood, refrigerator, dishwasher, coffee maker, toaster, electric kettle, microwave), a living room with a dining area for 4 people and a couch that sleeps 1 person. There is a bedroom with a double bed and another room with a single bed. There are 3 flat-screen TVs and Wi-Fi available throughout the apartment. The bathroom is equipped with a toilet, a shower, and a bathtub. Bed linens, dish towels, hand towels, and bath towels are provided. Final cleaning is included.
The vacation rental comes with 3 parking spaces, and there is a lockable garage area for your bicycles. You’re welcome to use our garden. Here you’ll find a gazebo with patio furniture, lounge chairs, a patio umbrella, a grill, and—for your children—a playhouse with a swing, sandbox, and slide. By arrangement, you can enjoy the pool and a bonfire in the evening.
Our town has several shopping options (bakery, EDKA, Netto, Norma, beverage store) and restaurants, as well as hair salons, a Sparkasse, and a VR-BANK. There’s also plenty to discover in Breitungen for tourists. Hikes along the Werra River to the castle or to Lake Breitung, or even up our local mountain, the Pleß—from where you can enjoy a magnificent view of the Thuringian Forest and the Rhön—promise wonderful experiences. Breitungen also has a swimming lake with a children’s playground and a mini-golf course. There’s also a bowling alley, or you can go on a canoe trip on the Werra—there’s so much exciting stuff to discover. You’re sure to never get bored.
In the immediate vicinity, a fun park, a waterfall, a dwarf park, a sound adventure trail, and a fairy-tale cave, as well as a falconry center and a small animal zoo, promise plenty of fun. The surrounding towns of Schmalkalden, Meiningen, Bad Salzungen, and Eisenach offer plenty of sights to see. These towns also have movie theaters as well as outdoor and indoor swimming pools.
