About this villa rental

Amazing villa with sea view located in Positano, in a very panoramic area over Amalfi Coast and Li Galli Islands. It has an ample private swimming pool (6 x 11 metres large and 1.6 deep) equipped with deck chairs, sunbeds, shower surrounded by a Mediterranean garden with olive, lemon trees, green trees and flowers. From the private swimming pool and the sea-view terraces you can admire a stunning sunset drinking a glass of Italian wine. Being 1 km from the beach, it is ideal for people who love tranquillity while at the same time being close to the centre of Positano (1 km) and other exclusive resorts such as the Island of Capri, Sorrento, Amalfi accessible by sea or by car/bus in about half an hour. 3 Parking spaces. Bus stop down the main road (about forty steps from the villa). Beach of Arienzo at 250 metres (about 250 steps). Within walking distance, there is the famous walk known as “Pathway of the gods (it is advisable to go on this walk with the local guides that you find in the area).

The villa and the views were spectacular. Everyone loved their time there. There are several levels and lots of places to hang out and enjoy the property and the view. However, my main issue was with the host. I’m a planner and wanted to get several things ironed out several weeks in advance (hiring a private chef, questions about an automatic parking fee we were charged - we had no car, they charged us twice for cleaning fee, etc.). The host was not great at responding quickly. In fact, I had to repeatedly reach out several times in a row and even contacted VRBO three times in order to get the host to respond to me. They just kept saying they were having email problems. However, we had previously communicated through the Vrbo app, so that didn’t make sense to me. It became very frustrating and at one point I was starting to get concerned that perhaps I had been scammed since I had already paid the full balance and was not getting much response from the host. I will say they were a bit more responsive via WhatsApp. (Recommended)A couple additional items. Bus timing going to/from Positano is a bit tricky & sparse so we walked most times with speedy traffic around sharp curves. Only 1 iron for whole villa. The house intro took almost an hr.Customer service is so important to me so I had to be honest about this experience. I don’t want to take away from how amazing the villa is because it really was. I just think they need to figure out this Cust Serv piece.

If you’re looking to stay on the coast, I highly recommend this property! Not only is the host fantastic and accommodating, the property itself is beautiful, has AC that actually gets cold, plenty of space to spread out and walking distance to Positano central and the port. When we come back to Italy, we will absolutely try to book this property again without a doubt.

Property is beautiful, private, spacious, and better than pics can reveal. There are 7 levels of gardens and quiet areas to have your own time and yet common areas for bringing the group back together. Berta, the property manager does an excellent in arranging transportation, groceries, and anything you need. Walk to town is :15. Don't rent a car, there is no parking. Our group of 10 really enjoyed our experience. There is no flaws in this property.

Berta, Prop Mngr, & Giovanni, On site technician, were Wonderful and Extremely accommodating! Berta helped with several tours we needed. The Villa itself was as advertised, even Better!! For the 11 of us it was fantastic. All with their own bedrooms and plenty of baths. The main gathering area was the best part. Table large enough for all of us and the living area was perfect for gathering and for fun, Vino & games! We could not have imagined a more wonderful environment. We will be back again!!
