Overall, a decent place to stay for a short visit to Verona. The room was fairly basic, without any particular luxuries, but it was clean and had everything essential. Most importantly, there was air conditioning, which was definitely appreciated.
There was also a shared kitchen, which was very well-equipped and available to all guests. The place felt more like a traditional hostel than a hotel, but that wasn't necessarily a bad thing.
A big plus was the possibility of checking in early. Our room was already available at 9 AM, and there were absolutely no issues with early check-in, which we really appreciated.
Once we had settled in, getting to the city centre by bus for some sightseeing was relatively easy.
The biggest drawback for us was the location, particularly when arriving from the train station with luggage.
We had planned to take a bus, but the buses were extremely crowded, making it practically impossible to board with our bags. We also couldn't book a ride through Uber or local taxi apps, so we eventually had to walk all the way to the property carrying our heavy luggage.
Of course, the public transport situation isn't the property's fault, but it's worth keeping in mind if you're arriving by train. Perhaps we were simply unlucky with rush hour, as getting around later in the day was much easier.
