The photos looked nice, but in person it was an entirely different level: beautifully kept, with that luxury feel without being over the top. At reception I felt genuinely cared for, with personal attention that made me feel welcome. The room was spacious and bright, the linens spotless, and the bed incredibly comfortable. The food was delicious, and the floor-to-ceiling window overlooking the forest gave me moments I'll remember. The pool and jacuzzis were excellent, and the spa—especially the Lilly Signature treatments—was unforgettable. I felt pampered and safe the whole time. It's a solid ten—I'd come back in a heartbeat. thanks to all team that it's working there

I've been amazed with my stay and the overall experience at The Sigiriya Forest Edge. Mr Kavishka at the reception was extremely helpful in getting us checked in and made us comfortable throughout with our smallest of the needs. Kavishka and his team had been an amazing host and had taken care of our overall stay with every minutest possible request, be it from the choice of room, breakfast or dinner, everything was class apart. I'm extremely happy with my stay at this property and would highly recommend anyone to go for it, worth all your time and money and a must stay for sure!!

We loved that the hotel was such a peaceful and quiet retreat . It had only 10 lodges which made it all the more lovely . Since the rooms were nestled within the forest we could hear the sounds of the wildlife especially early in the morning. The rooms were really spacious, clean ,well lit and really nice bathrooms .
Breakfast was very nice too with both continental and Sri Lankan cuisines as options.
The staff were attentive , polite and provided excellent service .
This property is also situated fairly close to the all the attractions we wanted to visit without needing to drive for hours .
The walkway leading to our rooms was a little dark at night but thankfully torches were provided in the rooms for our use . Also I don’t like the bugs . But since it is in the forest I guess that’s the trade off to be in such a setting .

The hotel exceeded our expectations. The rooms were individual bungalows built above the ground and in the trees (there's a ramp, so no need to worry about stairs). The room was spacious and beautifully designed with a large TV for entertainment, a sitting area, and a large comfortable bed. We felt it was one of the best rooms we had ever stayed in when visiting Sri Lanka! The restaurant was air-conditioned and had lovely views of the surrounding area. The waitstaff and cook were excellent, and together they presented some of the best meals we have eaten in Sri Lanka. Overall, staying at the Sigiriya Forest Edge was a highlight of our travels around Sri Lanka.
