Peace and quiet. Querky decor. Beautiful secluded Garden. Welcome pack v good. Period house with many original features. Sympathetically updated. Good WiFi.
V steep stairs. Bathroom downstairs and long way from bedrooms. Multiple floor levels. Shower via attachment to bath taps. Access via v narrow lanes. Parking space only suitable for v small car.

The cottage had everything we needed & had a very lovely cosy feel. Lots of little touches like fresh flowers, wine & biscuits & patchwork quilts. It was a 5 min drive from the pretty Appledore.
My 6ft son would have loved a stand up shower, I explained it’s a grade ll listed building!

A beautiful and peaceful cottage with a lovely garden. Loved all the details and thoughtful touches that made this a comfortable, homely and inspiring place to be. It felt like we had all we needed, and more. Flowers on the table, books to read, and welcome gifts. My son enjoyed the garden hammock! Would be perfect too for a solo retreat.

Lovely gardens and fresh flowers in house. Beautifully decorated with patchwork quilts, rugs, blankets, paintings and interesting books. Welcome basket, tea and coffee provided. The bath was wonderful after Coast Path one day. Cottage is walking distance to Northam Burrows.
The weather (typical for Devon). Access is down narrow roads and allocated parking space is a bit tight.
