Unclean and not as described - book a hotel for cheaper

Yes, as other reviews point out the room was really not particularly clean. The toilet was not clean, water from the shower pooled around the toilet plunger meaning it was sitting in a puddle of water the entire time, there were stains all over the sofa, the bed had no fitted sheet exposing the mattress underneath, I had to wash the dishes before use because they were still unclean from the previous guest, the room smelled like sewage, etc. The AC and shower were broken on arrival and not fixed until the second full day of our trip, rather than on the first as promised. When they were fixed, our room key was left out in the open in a common area of the complex – despite me having also raised that the safe was broken. Charging extra for cleaning and towels is absurd, as is “monitoring” AC usage and threatening to charge extra. Charging extra for cleaning feels especially scammy when a vacuum is not provided, leaving a totally ineffective and broken broom as our only way of cleaning up. The room plainly did not look like the photos; the bathroom was not stocked as pictured, there was no TV in the bedroom, there was no decoration whatsoever, the view was of a construction area. It was also unclear from the booking page that this is not a hotel, as some photos are of the adjoining hotel. Overall, we were very disappointed in the quality of the accommodation, and these seem like very common sense and cheap things to fix.

Would never stay here again. Cut our trip short by 4 days due to the problems.

The pool and location was great.

The apartment was extremely dirty. The bed was covered in stains. The sofa had dark stains all over it. The walls looked so grubby as if they needed repainted. We had sewage come from the bathroom tap which made us leave early. We contacted the owners and were told they could have a cleaner change the bed for us. Very disappointed.

Clean. Cheap drinks and food

Communication. No coffee machine for a eeek and just a cheap y when it came. No toilet brush for 2 weeks! Terrible internet for first 2 weeks until they finally fixed it. Too far from beach.
