I booked later in the evening as they said they were available and had space I got there an hour later and they said I can’t check in as he had gone home and I was left stranded and they won’t refund me

I will never return to such place ever. Unsafe.

Good location

The ventilation in the room has not been working properly; the window could not be opened properly as may be seen on pictures. Both me and my wife had sore throats from AC in previous hotel, so we couldn’t use the AC. We left the door slightly open out of necessity to be able to breathe. Over the third night our belongings (cash, designer eyewear, film camera) have been stolen. In the morning, once we found out about the theft, we felt completely unsafe (some of the things — camera and glasses — were stolen from INSIDE the house while we were asleep), tried to get the video from the CCTV (however there were NO cameras covering the path to our bungalow and the bungalow entrance itself), filed a police report, asked the staff and owner to cancel our stay and tried to check out from the place, however the owner started to request we pay cash for the nights spent to process our cancellation request. We moved to a different hotel anyway. At first I agreed to pay cash for the nights spent, but the owner said it was unable to process the cancellation request because it wasn’t able to contact the booking, and started requesting we pay for the other nights as well refusing to process our check out. We tried contacting booking support several times yet have got no resolution of this situation. I’m am still trying to recover my belongings. The stay has NEVER been cancelled and we are still unable to recover any money spent on this so-called beach “resort”.

It is very close to the beach

Shower has no power, sand gets in the bed very easy, the AC is pointing directly at the bed
