To be avoided! The accommodation does not meet basic hygiene and sanitary standards. There is visible mould at the entrance, as well as large damp patches in the kitchen and bedroom, which appear to have been covered up with fresh paint. The paint even stained my bag. There is also a strong sewage smell when using the kitchen sink, poor water drainage in the shower, and no ventilation. Furthermore, there is no air conditioning, despite it being advertised in the listing. Overall, the condition of the accommodation is unacceptable and does not match the description provided. I would not recommend this place and strongly advise future guests to look elsewhere.

Great location, but too many issues to enjoy the stay.

The position of the flat is excellent, right in the heart of the old town 3 minutes away from the sea. Super fast internet! No signal inside, so it’s a must Kitchen and washing machine, well equipped

Despite the excellent location of the apartment, there were several significant issues that impacted our stay. The property is a mezzanine with notably low ceilings, which made the space feel quite confined. At 190 cm height, I personally felt somewhat claustrophobic, particularly in the bathroom. The bathroom also lacks effective ventilation. The extractor fan appears to have no actual airflow, and it is unclear whether it is properly connected to an external outlet. As a result, moisture and odors tend to remain in the space. Hot water availability was also limited. The boiler was set to an eco mode (3 •••out of 4••••), but this did not provide sufficient hot water for a long shower, even for one person. The boiler itself also seems quite small (40 l) and outdated, which may explain the limitation. Ventilation throughout the apartment is generally poor. While there is an air conditioning unit that helps to some extent, (kudos to the owner for learning from past reviews and fitting the aircon unit) the low ceilings contribute to a stuffy feeling. The apartment is also located directly above a restaurant, and noise insulation is minimal. With windows open, there is significant noise from below, and even with them closed, sound from the restaurant and surroundings is still clearly audible. The most serious issue, however, was the smell inside the apartment. There was a persistent unpleasant odor that resembled a mix of mustiness and strong disinfectant, with additional food smells from the restaurant below. Unfortunately, this made the environment uncomfortable, and we often preferred not to spend time inside. We ended up spending the minimum amount of time possible in the apartment. On the day of checkout, we left very early in the morning, which reflects how uncomfortable the overall experience was by that point.
