Our Guesthouse Sabine, pr 'Skminc, is located in an authentic and quiet little village—just 4 km from the famous Lake Bled. If you’d like to leave your car behind, there are several walking trails (about a 45-minute walk) and, of course, public transportation options that will take you to Bled in comfort.
Lake Bohinj, the largest permanent lake located in Triglav National Park, can be reached in about 30 minutes by car or, alternatively, by public transportation.
We offer the perfect starting point for exploring the picturesque landscape and enjoying crystal-clear waters—and the perfect destination for relaxing and unwinding. This is a great place for hiking, climbing, biking, fly fishing, water sports, and cycling. Visit nearby small towns such as Bled, the medieval town of Radovljica, Kranj, the capital Ljubljana, and many more. In about 90 minutes, you’ll be on the Slovenian Riviera.
We are a privately run guesthouse with three uniquely designed accommodations. The studio is our most popular choice. It features a small kitchenette—perfect for preparing a hearty breakfast and simple meals. The light-filled room has been freshly renovated, is tastefully furnished, and is full of lovely little details. Your host is always nearby and available to answer any questions. I’ve traveled extensively, and ever since I fell in love with Slovenia, my motto has been: I used to travel the world—now the world comes to Slovenia.

The studio features a small kitchenette—perfect for preparing breakfast. Upon request, we’re also happy to serve breakfast in our pr’ Skminc kitchen-dining area. It’s a cozy place to start the day and chat about ideas for day trips. We serve breakfast for stays of at least 5 nights. The cost is €15 per person.
