Prime location in the city centers near the cathedral and the local shops. The cloître is in itself a beautiful traditional building. The accommodation and the facilities were clean. The living space is cosy.
It was raining and it was warm and quite nice, so all together I had a good rest.
The coffee from the machine was atrocious! (maybe not) But at least it was very bad, it tasted like dirty water and old musty coffee put together.... So the next morning I asked if they had a coffee grinder to make fresh coffee with a French press (as the grounded coffee they had prepared was long rotten), but they didn't... And god knows a man needs it's coffee to start his day !

It’s a beautiful building and I had a lovely, large room. The breakfast was basic but well presented and included the possibility of fresh orange juice. I had a good time here.
I was worried about getting in the building with just a code after a problem at a different hotel last year, but it turned out to be easy.

Sehr zentrales Altstadthotel, toll, modern und individuell eingerichtet. Tiefgarage direkt um die Ecke (11 EUR/Nacht).
Check-In läuft ohne Personal, alles digital - das muss man vielleicht vorher wissen. Für uns passte es.

Lots of character and quiet room.
No elevator so difficult to climb with luggage. Breakfast continental only, and guest expected to load their dishes in dishwasher. Airconditioning couldn't keep up with high temps. Left day early to get relief from heat.

"This property is in a wonderful location, close to the cathedral. We needed assistance getting into the building the first time, and we were able to get help by phone very easily. We arrived early, so..."
