Be carefull not to fall in trap .

The place does not exist. No ability to connect to alleged owner.

I wouldn’t book again, expensive for what we received.

Location is great. Nice to have a lift. The apartment was quiet with some noise from the street downstairs but not too bad.

The lockbox is confusing as there were 2 hanging on the bannister next to the entrance with coincidentally the same code showing that we had been given but ours was on a lamppost 20 meters away. There were no wine glasses in the apartment. We were in danger of the toilet paper running out and one night we got locked out of the inner door with no solution in sight. By pure chance 2 girls were visiting their friend in the apartment and they were able to call him and he came down to unlock the door. No idea how we would’ve gotten in if they hadn’t arrived. All these queries were communicated with the host who merely replied, thanks for letting us know they’ll make the next guest’s experience better. So you’ll have better luck if you’re booking after us. Absolutely pointless having the host contact details if they are not able to deal with any problems. The apartment needs a deep clean in the living area, as we were searching for a dropped earring, all kinds of debris under the sofa were uncovered.

Unprofessional and Unsafe Experience

We had a very disappointing experience at this property. We arrived at 5:00 PM and had to wait outside for 30 minutes because the host was not ready with the cleaning, even though check-in was from 3 PM and we had informed him 1.5 hours earlier. When we finally checked in at 5:30 PM, the host immediately insisted on a cash payment and canceling the reservation on Booking.com, which we refused. The ID of the main guest was provided to him one day before, confirming that we didn't need to send anything else. After returning from dinner at 7:00 PM, the host was still in the apartment. His behavior escalated when we categorically refused to pay in cash and cancel on Booking.com. He started making additional requests for a deposit without providing any written acknowledgment that it would be returned at checkout. He also made several offensive remarks and stated he didn't want and like to host Romanians, only foreigners, despite being Romanian himself. The host eventually kicked us out around 7:40 PM and then falsely told Booking.com support that he was waiting for us to return and be hosted in that unsafe environment. Despite not providing safe accommodation and refusing to host us unless we paid in cash and canceled on Booking.com, he has not yet accepted the free cancellation requested by Booking.com. We ended up booking another place where the host was welcoming, hosted us with one single ID of the main guest, and did not require additional cash or make offensive remarks. Try to avoid this apartment if you want to ensure a pleasant stay in Bucharest.
