Check in and reception ar the bar was very good, and staff very obliging. Room was clean and tidy, and adequate for my needs. I was pleased to see that it came with an electric jug, coffee and tea making facilities. This accommodation right in the centre of town and handy to everything. Stee parking nearby.makes it easily accessible.
Door lock and handle on room was six difficult to use, required a turn of the key, simultaneous twist of the door handle and shove of the shoulder to open it. This can be a problem for people with arthritis or weak grip. Needs repair. Bathrooms and showers were very clean and functional however hot water in men's showers and amenities in the morning was barely warm after 10 minutes of running each time I used it.

The staff and location
The rooms had a jug and coffee but no sink or water in the room
No service for clean towels or linen for our 4 night stay
The aircon was very minimal
The shared bathrooms and toilets were very unhygienic
Ran out of toilet paper most days
The common room had a small fridge for all guests to share, so we couldnt fit food in there

Great for a one night stop over. Room is clean and meets needs.
A communal toaster would have been great. Pillows on the main bed were rock hard.

the service and location is excellent. The amenities are whats expected with a 'pub'type accomodation.
Guys, i had a pretty ordinary sleep. When new, Bamboo pillows are great. a couple of months down the track they absorb a bus load of moisture and are like sleeping on a brick. Perhaps just get the cheap light fluffy pillows from target.
