We enjoyed our stay the pool was great and it was just a short walk to the beach

Disappointing
The location was really good, and the neighborhood was nice.
The property did not seem to be ready for guests. There was an industrial fan in the master bedroom which led us to believe there had been flooding. The carpets were absolutely disgusting. The fan in the bathroom didn’t work, the closet door was off the hinges. The door out to the patio was also messed up and hard to open and close. The silverware drawer was missing its pull and you had to open up other cabinets to get to it. The comforter in the master bedroom was also stained. The dryer didn’t work. We called the first day of our stay and they said someone would be out to repair it. No one came. We called the second day of our stay and they said we would receive a call back. No one called or came out. The third day of our stay, we drove out to the office to see someone in person. On the last day it was finally repaired. We had already left to come home, however, as we had another trip right after this one that required clean clothes (the reason I sought a house with a washer and dryer). Our adult daughter stayed and said it was repaired on the very last evening. While I understand weekends and the need to order parts, etc, etc, it seems that no one inspected this home before the season. The dryer’s start button was missing, taken completely out, a simple check of the property would have been sufficient to know it wasn’t ready for guests. If I had known the condition of this property, i would not have stayed there. $2700 for a week of hanging towels all over the dining room chairs so that we could shower and go to the beach was not my ideal holiday. They did send over some fresh bath linens mid week and they did apologize, it just felt like maybe this price point wasn’t enough for anyone to keep the home in order.
