The apartment was very clean and tastefully furnished. We loved the location as it was so close to everything. Unlike other reviews we were not disturbed by the noise of the city centre, the apartment we stayed in was on the top floor and the noise was minimal. We stayed for 6 nights. It was nice to have a washing machine, and the heating system was very good.
The most disappointing thing was that when searching on Booking.com we specifically searched for something with parking, this accommodation came up, but it has NO parking. Rather stupidly I didn't check until a few days before our stay. I messaged to ask, only to be sent a list of nearby carparks that could be booked for a 'reasonable' price. We ended up paying an additional £110 to rent a space elsewhere in the city.
The WIFI in the apartment is not very good, it does not work at all in the bedroom, and was not good enough to watch any sort film during our stay.
The apartment can accommodate up to 4, there were three of us yet there is just one sofa in the living room, so unless we all sat squashed in in a line, someone was left with a hard dining chair.
Had we been staying just one or two nights these things would not have mattered but for longer stays it would have been nice to have a bit more comfort. Especially out of season as the weather was bad so we spent a lot more time in the apartment that we would have done in the summer months. Some hooks to dry wet coats and towels would be really helpful.
Finally it would be great to have a bigger bed in the bedroom, and somewhere to store your clothes rather than just a rail with a few hangers. Some drawers, and a dressing table and perhaps a chair or two! Minor things but they would have made a difference to us.
It would have also been nice to know where to empty the bins, and where to find the bedding for the sofa bed on arrival!
Time and attention has been pout into this accommodation and we appreciated that, but a few more home comforts, better WIFI, and being upfront about the parking situation would have improved our stay.
Thank you for having us, we did like the apartment, and I hope are comments are constructive. Bath is a beautiful city and this is a good place to stay.
