We wanted a more authentic stay in Tokyo over the more touristy hotels, and this place was perfect just for that! It was in a quiet residential area which was prefect after a long day exploring the hectic city, but was still close enough to walk to the busier streets of ikebukuro. The host Koharu was also the sweetest host ever and we want to give our most thanks to her! She was always just a text away for anything we needed during our stay, and she even went out of her way to give us great recommendations for things to do and places to eat at near our stay. Overall loved everything!
Nothing!

Close to convenience stores and many restaurants in Ikebukuro. About a 10-15min walk from the station. Nice quiet neighbourhood. Property was clean, bed was comfortable and had air conditioning. Owner was friendly and responsive in messages, and also gave us good recommendations on activities in Tokyo
Make sure to check size or room/bathroom because bathroom is extremely small. No shower curtain so the entire bathroom stays wet and damp unless the whole bathroom is wiped after taking a shower. Also makes it difficult to dry wet towels. Entrance is narrow so difficult to get in and out, but all this is advertised on the room plans in the listing

The location is close to the Ikebukuro station ( around 10 - 15 minutes by walking )
Nothing to say - everything was perfect
