A nice little holiday house that needs better management

The location is quite good; a car is required as there are restaurants/shops in the area and the closest towns are 10-15 minutes away by car. Whether or not the closest beach is walkable depends on the person and time of year - in high summer heat, with children, it's not a walkable distance. The views are nice (although this depends on which property you get, see comments below).

Via booking.com, the house is managed by a property management company, and we had issues with a number of things they did. First and most importantly, the photos are misleading. The house is two different units but is misrepresented as one; you may or may not get the unit that has the lounge chairs and grand view, for example (we didn't). It says in the description "the entire place is yours" - not true. It is also not true that the property has access to a private beach - it's a public beach, but you get free parking. We asked for a house information pack (many other vacation properties have this) to get details about the facilities/equipment available. They brushed us off saying the booking.com listing had all details (it doesn't). When we asked specific questions about the types of beds and coffee maker, they gave us inaccurate information. They would not tell us which house it was. We asked repeatedly for an address but they told us simply to "wait in the parking lot". There are multiple parking lots on the street, and unsurprisingly the person sent to let us in to the house had trouble finding us. This could easily have been avoided if they had said "it's the house on the corner" but they repeatedly refused to give us this information, even after we'd booked and paid. The kitchen was missing basic items that are typically provided - no general waste bin, no salt, the dish soap bottle was empty, no rubbish bags. A panini press and blender were there, but there are no electrical outlets on the countertops, so you'd have to go elsewhere in the house - not very useful. The description mentions a TV, but there is no cable/TV connection, so it's useless. There is a stack of DVDs, but no DVD player.

L'appartement est bien situé, proche d'une plage très jolie avec parking gratuit et de petits commerces et restaurants (accessibles en voiture). Il offre une belle vue sur la mer.

L'appartement manque d'équipements de base, notamment dans la cuisine (ustensiles, sel). Les lits sont peu confortables. Un peu cher pour la qualité générale du logement.
