Great location but property was not as expected (5 star) described.

Great location in Port Melbourne.

Still in shock … so disappointed. The state of the apartment: untidy, unclean, damaged items, extremely old, warn & dated furniture and fittings, wardrobes full of items (Christmas tree, blankets & doonas thrown in, bags of stuff …) making them unusable, laundry still with linen to be washed and cleaned, taps falling off bathroom sink, sink plug stuck causing flood due to dripping tap (overflowing on entry), sticky bathroom floor, carpet with holes everywhere and wrinkles plus nails protruding at the patio entry. The blinds were all damaged and some on backwards, balcony unusable as furniture was all perished, rips in the couch and leather pealing off plus no cushioning anymore, stench from dishwasher was so strong requiring purchase of air fresher products, the kitchen utensils/crockery thrown in any cupboard without care or placement, old food left in cupboards (not recent), hard old coffee, used water bottles, noodle bags, jars of old food amongst vacuum parts. We were unable to use the laundry as no dryer exists despite being noted in the property facilities, plus the washing basket was already full with washing. We were unable to park our car in the stated parking space as the instructions of level 2 area B were incorrect (located following day on totally different level and area) plus the car space already had a 4x4 in the front space which protruded into the space allocated for a small-mid size car, not a large SUV as stated on our booking. It took over 1.5 hrs to try and sort out so we ended up parking elsewhere in a paid public carpark. Absolute dissatisfaction. Absolute disbelief we were charged $916 for 2 nights in what turned out to be a 2 star property at best. Nothing like the pictures - very old, outdated, requires maintenance and repairs badly. We received an email late the before arrival advising us to pick up the keys from a Thai Restaurant down the road and to leave the keys on the kitchen bench when we depart.

Great location, but our stay was spoilt by the filthy condition of the apartment.

The location at Port Melbourne was excellent.

The apartment was dirty when we arrived. It appeared the floors and carpet had not been cleaned for some time. The bath/shower was filthy, and there were greasy foot marks on the bath floor. The kitchen table had not been wiped down. The dishwasher was broken and smelt badly, and all the cutlery in the drawers was dirty and had to be re-washed. We had to do a full cleaning of the apartment before we felt comfortable before going to bed. The apartment was managed by a company called AirKeeper. If they had done their job properly, the apartment should not have been let in the state it was in.

Staff need to read instructions before ringing and stressing patrons out.
