Photos of the property are mis-leading!

The location was great and the hot tub was a lovely addition. The Lodge suited a family of 4 adults and 2 children.

It was so unclean, there were cobwebs everywhere and blood marks on the wall...it felt as if someone had come in, changed the sheets, given the surfaces a wipe and then left. There was alot of damage in the lodge, a broken window, torn flooring, wallpaper coming off the wall and lots of marks and dents. The main bath looks like it has jets but it doesn't work, you can't use the bath/sofa at the same time as the other bathroom as the water pressure gets too low. The sofa was also ripped in the corner part. It was also a health and safety issue with the broken window, one of the bedroom windows was missing a latch so couldn't be locked and under the TV unit was so many leads, wires and plugs all exposed. There was water damage from the roof leaking and the front porch/conservatory had weeds growing inside. The outdoor furniture was coming apart, the loungers by the hottub were ripped and had seen better days and the wooden patio chairs were so rickety that it felt that they were going to come apart when you sat on them. There weren't enough chairs in the lounge for everyone to sit on so had to use dining chairs which were marked by previous spills. Please don't sit in the wooden chair in the lounge as the back is coming away and will fall apart at some point. The hot tub area is surrounded by bricks so you can't see over the fields, feels like being in a garage without a roof. It is a shame as we felt we were mis-sold from the photos, we came home a day early as it just felt not nice. For such a lovely property, there is so much you can do to make it amazing. Even just giving the walls a lick of paint will help and giving it a proper clean!
