Location

he apartment is spacious and the location is convenient, but unfortunately our overall experience was disappointing and did not match what was presented in the Booking.com listing. The photos appear to be heavily edited, and several details shown in the listing were not accurate to the apartment we arrived at. Three of the four beds were missing the headboards shown in the photos, and several of the artwork/decorative pieces pictured were also missing. The apartment is advertised as having air conditioning, but the AC consists of portable units with exhaust hoses that require the windows to remain open. Since the apartment faces a very busy street, this resulted in significant traffic noise throughout the apartment, particularly at night. During our stay, the temperature inside reached approximately 91°F (33°C), making it extremely difficult to sleep comfortably. Closing the windows helped with the noise but made the apartment uncomfortably hot, while using the AC required leaving the windows open. Unfortunately, communication with the host was also difficult, as the host was not responsive when we raised our concerns. We contacted Booking.com for assistance, but were told that alternative accommodation would not be provided after check-in and that we would need to find and pay for another property ourselves. There are some positive aspects to the apartment, including its size and convenient location, but the discrepancies between the listing and the actual apartment, the lack of responsiveness from the host, the extreme heat, and the significant street noise had a substantial impact on our stay. I would recommend that future guests carefully consider these issues, particularly if visiting during hot weather or if quiet sleeping conditions are important

Nothing to like.

Despite explicitly confirming the presence of functional air conditioning prior to our stay, we arrived during a severe Paris heatwave to find the apartment completely uninhabitable. The property relies on portable AC units in three of the four bedrooms, but they were installed incorrectly with the windows left open to vent the exhaust. This simply drew in more blistering heat than the units could cool. With outside temperatures exceeding 100°F, the indoor temperature in every room remained a stifling 95°F even after running the AC for over six hours (documented with the attached photos). Even more unacceptable was the host's dismissive response. Instead of sending a technician to resolve the issue, they blamed us and insisted previous renters hadn't complained. Forced out by the extreme heat and the host's refusal to help, we had to scramble for emergency alternate accommodations. Furthermore, the property itself is noticeably run-down and falls shockingly short of the heavily edited listing photos. Unless you are severely cash-strapped and desperate to fit 12 people into a single space, I strongly advise looking elsewhere.

La agencia que gestiona el apartamento fue muy eficiente y fácil de contactar. Las instrucciones de acceso muy claras y precisas. El apartamento era amplio y muy luminoso, la ubicación tranquila.

El alojamiento se encuentra en un edificio antiguo parisino y aunque con mucho encanto y pese a la reforma, se nota en algunos aspectos del alojamiento. No fue un problema para nosotros, ya que valoramos la autenticidad y la historia de los edificios antiguos. Volveremos sin duda!
