Brilliant location in Rye. We had already had a parking spot recommended to us from the owners (parking can be tricky in Rye), found the property easily enough and collected the keys from key lock. The property is very quirky which some may not appreciate but we all loved its character and creaky wonky floor. Comfortable bed, hot shower and Wi-Fi, close to all the shops and pubs it’s perfect for a short visit to Rye. The shopping in Rye is very good, lots of independent shops to visit and this from someone that doesn’t usually enjoy shopping.

This property is exceptionally well presented, and equipped with every possible item that one might need for an extended visit. The kitchen cupboards house all the necessary crockery and cooking utensils, and vital herbs, spices and condiments required to help prepare proper meals (especially plenty of garlic!). All of the equipment and items provided are quality, not just 'still working hand-me-downs' often found.
The rest of the accommodation is equally well thought out, with great furnishing, decoration and interesting objects around. In all, the whole feeling is more of an actual home than just somewhere to stay. It is a shame that on this occasion we were only able to stay one night!
For a party of 6 adults, it would have been a great bonus to have more than one toilet. But, in a building of this age this would be really difficult to achieve, and I could see no easy solution there. Most people will understand and work around it!
