Close to the Beach, BUT BEWARE!

Close to the boardwalk and beach.

Adjust your expectations! This is a crash pad for a group of rowdy youngsters...not a nice place to bring a family. Not clean, floors are damaged, uneven and dangerous, not enough chairs at dining table, one dining table chair completely broken, no broom/dustpan, several light bulbs out, lamp in a bedroom with broken switch, floor under refrigerator soaked from previous ice maker water line leak to the point that the current refrigerator is sinking into the floor and tilted, this also caused the stove to tilt in that direction (everything you cook instantly slides that way), water lines to the laundry washer connected backwards (setting it to cold gave hot water), hallway is not level and severely tilted toward the east...makes you feel like you're drunk every time you walk it, HVAC filter was horrible...to the point of being a health hazard, four of the HVAC vents were either shut off, or obstructed by furniture placement, both doors that connect the north end of hallway to the kitchen and living room would neither close nor stay open, MICE, both of the outside showers don't work, while being close to the boardwalk was nice...it also means commercial food trucks making deliveries EVERY MORNING, flapper valve in one of the toilets leaking (I adjusted the chain just one link looser...fixed!), ANTS in the kitchen pantry, plates / bowls / silverware not clean but in the cabinets/drawers, front porch is sinking / not level, front landscaping wood mulch is up against the porch...

GROSS!! DIRTY!! UNKEPT!! Management should be held accountable!!

Location to the boardwalk/beach is the only upside to this rental (2 min walk).With that being said not worth the convenience and price for the housekeeping and condition of this property!

We come to OCMD every year and this is by far the worse of the worst place we ever stayed. It was dirty and unkept. Floor had soft spots and was coming up in one room. Microwave was gross, ants all over countertops. Dining room chair was broke. All tv remote batteries were dead. Beading/pillows were stained. The towels and wash clothes were not usable. No toiletries, no trash bags not even a broom, yet they have a whole cleaning list of housekeeping to be done before checking out or there would be a xtra charge for this and that. Rooms missing plug cover, bad if you have young children.some lamps were unusable due to missing parts.Could keep going but I think you get the point. MANAGEMENT SHOULD BE ASHAMED AND EMBARRASSED!! Sad part is, could be a great property if they gave a little effort and should they care about the unit!

Comfort close to the beach

The location was perfect for visiting the beach. We could walk everywhere we wanted to go from the house. Cindy was very quick to respond when we needed help with something.

With all the sand from the beach, it would have been nice to have at least a broom in the house to be able to sweep a little. That was our only complaint.

The perfect location close to everything: the beach, shops, the church, etc.

The showers located in the parking lot are dirty and one was clogged, the water wouldn't drain.
