This was a great place for me and my family to stay while we were visiting Venice! It was clean and comfortable and the host was extremely kind and helpful (and patient). Highly recommend
Really the only part where I struggled a bit was not with the host or apartment at all. It was me understanding the rules of Italy and paying the local tax separate, etc. It was the pre-stay work that I should have been more knowledgable about that I wasn't. The host did an excellent job of being patient with me and explaining what I needed to do in order to check in properly (thank you again!! :) )

One of the reasons I booked this property was because of previous reviews I had read about how clean & comfortable it was. I was not disappointed!
The property was clean and has everything you could need for your stay.
Also, staying in an area where locals live and in one of the apartments made the whole experience to Venice even most special.
The area is very peaceful and a short walk away from the restaurants, cafes, etc, on the water front of giudecca, which has a chilled vibe. Just what is needed after a day of sightseeing in Venice.
There is a supermarket nearby, which is great.
The host was very helpful, and nothing was too much trouble.
Hopefully, I will come back to Venice again. Would I re book this apartment again 100% I would.

The only thing I would say is that there are quite a few steps up to the apartment. It didn't cause us any problems.
But for someone with disability issues, it might do.

Comfortable Living Space: The apartment itself is a clean, comfortable, and standard living space featuring a nice bed, a functional living area, and a private balcony.
Well-Equipped Kitchen: The kitchen is fully stocked with plates, silverware, glasses, and a corkscrew, making it easy to prepare meals at home.
Convenient Amenities: Having an in-unit washing machine was a major plus for a multi-night stay.
Great Location: Situated in a good, convenient spot on Giudecca for exploring Venice.
Poor Pre-Arrival Communication: Responses to check-in inquiries were severely delayed prior to arrival, and generic public transit advice was provided instead of explicit entry instructions.
Stressful Check-In & Entry: No check-in codes or building access details were provided in advance, forcing us to call the host while lost outside with luggage. The entrance layout was confusing (Building F is at the start of the block rather than where expected) with no clarifying directions given.
Unnecessary Tax Payment Hassle: The host requested an international bank transfer for the municipal tourist tax before check-in rather than offering simple in-person or cash options, creating unnecessary pre-trip friction.
Inconsistent Shower Water Temperature: The wet-room shower took a long time to warm up and cycled unpredictably between freezing cold and scalding hot.
Unmentioned Mosquito Protection: Mosquitoes were a major issue (easy to spot sitting on the plain white ceilings), and while the host previously dismissed this in guest reviews, we discovered on our fourth day that hidden roller screens exist behind the blinds. Guests need to be informed about these screens upon arrival.
Inadequate Amenities: Dish soap and toiletries were supplied only in tiny single-use 20 ml sample bottles, requiring us to purchase basic household supplies for a 5-night stay.
