Acolá Sport Hostel

Best hostel during my two week trip in Galicia! There was always paper to dry hands with and toilets with bidets.

Kitchen could be bigger.

La energía con que te recibe el anfitrión es super bonita, te da todas las instrucciones para que te muevas en la ciudad, incluso te guia para que al dia siguiente retomes el camino sin problemas. Sin duda repetiría en el Acola.

Location was ideal central to the old town and near Basilica de santa maria and to plenty of restaurants and cafes, close too to the river. The hostel was very clean and each bed had a curtain and a locker. I requested a bottom bunk and the request was accommodated. The beds each had a light and charging socket with space for phone and a book to be kept beside your bed. The hostel felt very safe and friendly. Nice kitchen space for eating and socialising.

The hostel was mixed with 2 corridors beside each other with 8 beds in each corridor. It was popular for pilgrims doing the Camino, so whilst I stayed for 6 nights, most of the residents changed every day and were arriving exhausted, going to bed early, and snoring very loudly. It was therefore difficult to get a good night's sleep. I would have liked the ability to cook with a pan and to have a toaster. There was a microwave and fridge.
