Shopping options in town... In Winterberg and the Niedersfeld district, there are numerous activities suitable for both children and dogs. Here are a few recommendations:
Hillebachsee in Niedersfeld: This reservoir, idyllically surrounded by forested mountain slopes, offers a wide range of recreational activities for the whole family. A paved loop trail about 1.6 kilometers long is perfect for leisurely walks and is ideal for strollers and dogs. For children, there’s a large adventure playground with various play structures. Sports activities such as mini-golf, beach volleyball, and soccer are also available. In the summer, the swimming beach is perfect for a dip, and a water ski facility adds to the fun. 
Niedersfeld Playground, Am See: Located directly on Lake Hillebach, this playground offers numerous play structures such as a tower with a slide, a rocking animal, a sandbox with a digger, swings, a large pirate ship, and a water play structure with a pump. There is also a multipurpose court, a spacious grassy playground, and a volleyball court. Various fitness stations are available around the lake for physical activity. 
“The Golden Trail” on the Niedersfeld High Heath: This approximately 5-kilometer-long loop trail winds through the unique landscape of the high heath and offers impressive views. The trail is easy to walk and is ideal for families with children and dogs. Along the way, various stations invite visitors to relax and observe nature. 
Summer toboggan run at the Erlebnisberg Kappe: In Winterberg, the 700-meter-long summer toboggan run offers thrilling fun. Children ages 3 and up can ride when accompanied by an adult; those ages 8 and up may ride alone.
Winterberg Spa Park: A well-maintained park with walking paths, a pond, Kneipp pools, and a mini-golf course. Children will enjoy the playgrounds and fitness equipment. Dogs are welcome on a leash and can explore the paths together with the family.

Very nice also to walk with pets.
The apartment is newly decorated and everything is there. Towels and bed linens also 👍
