About this house rental
Tarpon Lagoon is the perfect peaceful location to Boat, Swim, Dive, Snorkel right in your back yard. Exposure has beautiful sunsets from the back balcony, and a nice deep heated pool is nestled in the partial shade, right next to the clear lagoon water. Lagoon is teaming with wildlife, Manatees, Turtles, Tarpon, and Dolphin are a normal occurrence. If you want to try your hand at a little dock fishing, Tarpon Lagoon has some of the best water that is available at a house in the marathon area. The wide body of sea-air lagoon allows many different activities in a safe area for practice, or more challenging areas right in the bay, which is just a few hundred feet away. The Large bike path connects this area from the center of Marathon for leisurely walks, or long bike rides. This house also features a heated pool and pool table. The location is absolutely perfect! I’ve stayed in every neighborhood in marathon and this is by far the best location I’ve ever stayed. Easy access to the gulf, calm bay with no crazy currents. The house needs cleaning (very dusty, no bugs thank god) down stairs living space has been smoked in.

What a great time we had! There were 11 of us, ranging in age from 6 to 72 and everyone left happy. The house is just as described and very nice. There were kayaks, paddle boards, a lovely pool, which we used a lot. My great grands, aged 6 and 8, spent a lot of time in the pool. The owner was very responsive with the minor things we needed help with. If we go to Marathon again, we would definitely look into renting this house again. The dock was very nice. We rented a boat for two days and thoroughly enjoyed it. We really enjoyed staying here. Thanks for sharing this great house!

We enjoyed our stay ,the accommodations were nice and the house was clean. It could use some attention to details( pool filter clogged, some lights not working, remotes operating multiple appliances at the same time) and a few needed upgrades . Adam was helpful and quick to respond when needed. We had a great time and would stay at this property again when visiting Marathon

We enjoyed our time in Florida and want to leave an honest review of this property. There were some positives, but also several issues that affected our stay.Positives: The beds were comfortable, the main refrigerator worked, there was plenty of indoor seating for our group of eight, and the location was convenient.Negatives:There were multiple maintenance and cleanliness concerns. The master bathroom sinks drained slow, water pressure was low, and the water heater only allowed one person to shower at a time. The downstairs refrigerator was broken and had a strong rotten odor, which likely contributed to the musty smell in the downstairs bedroom. The oven did not work at first. When we contacted the host, we were made to feel as though we didn’t know how to use it, but it was later confirmed to be broken and repaired. The stovetop ventilation was difficult to use. When issues were reported, we were told everything worked prior to arrival, though several problems were present on day one and later confirmed by service technicians.The pool was very dirty and poorly maintained, with two broken pumps and only one working. This made us uncomfortable using it. Cleanliness was also an issue. There was dirty underwear on the balcony, broken drawers in bedrooms and bathrooms, hair left in shower drains, mold in the master shower, and another shower had hair covering the floor. While we enjoyed Florida, the home did not meet expectations.
