About this apartment rental
The studio apartment consists of a kitchen, a living room with a dining table and a sofa bed, a bathroom, and a walk-in closet. It is brand-new and was recently renovated. It comes fully equipped with everything you need to cook, and bed linens and towels are provided. There is a spacious outdoor patio equipped with a table, chairs, lounge chairs, and a beach umbrella for dining al fresco and relaxing in the sun. Guests may also use the home’s garden for private use. A large outdoor sink and a clothesline are available for hand-washing laundry.
A historic, very quiet village with friendly and helpful residents. Please note that inside the house and at the village fountains, you can drink potable water from a natural mountain spring; Vallecchia has its own private aqueduct with water flowing directly from the source. The La Miniera open-air shopping center is a 10-minute drive away. On Wednesdays, there is a weekly market featuring clothing, home accessories, and fresh food such as fruit, vegetables, and fresh fish. Near the town’s parking lot, there is a restaurant open on weekends where you can sample local cuisine. There are many trails in the surrounding area that you can explore on foot or by bike to take in the natural scenery. The apartment is located on the border between Liguria and Tuscany; you can reach the Carrara marble quarries, Fosdinovo Castle, and Campocecina by car or on a guided tour. For those who love the sea, the nearest beach, Marinella di Sarzana, is a 20-minute drive away. The Cinque Terre are easily accessible by train from the Sarzana station, which is 20 minutes from the property. We also recommend visiting Lerici, Portovenere, Palmaria Island, Marina di Carrara, Pietrasanta, and Marina di Massa—all fascinating seaside destinations.
