Manta Ray Manor Haven is such a beautiful place to spend a relaxing holiday in Ahangama. The location is one of its biggest highlights, as the property is right by the beach with stunning views of the ocean. The whole place has a peaceful and welcoming atmosphere, making it a great choice for anyone looking to escape the busy everyday routine.
One of the nicest things about the property is the swimming pool overlooking the ocean. The infinity pool and jacuzzi are lovely features, especially when you just want to relax and enjoy the sea breeze. The surrounding garden is full of greenery and adds a really natural feeling to the place. There are plenty of beautiful spots to sit, unwind, and enjoy the surroundings.
The rooms are spacious and comfortable, and I especially like that there are different accommodation options for couples, families, and larger groups. The family rooms and villas with kitchen facilities are particularly convenient for guests planning to stay for several days.
The restaurant has a lovely atmosphere, especially with the ocean so close by. Being able to enjoy a meal while listening to the waves is something that makes the experience feel special. The entire property has a nice balance of comfort and natural beauty without feeling overly crowded or commercial.
Another thing worth mentioning is the location. Ahangama is a wonderful area for surfing, exploring nearby beaches, and experiencing the southern coast of Sri Lanka. The hotel is conveniently located for visiting nearby attractions, but it still offers a peaceful environment where you can simply relax without needing to go anywhere.
What I like most about Manta Ray Manor Haven is the overall atmosphere. It has a certain charm that is difficult to explain until you see the place for yourself. The combination of the ocean, beautiful garden, swimming pool, and relaxed surroundings makes it feel like a proper tropical geta

Beach front view was picture postcard
One particular staff who behaved very unprofessionally, needs to learn the business of keeping his customers satisfied. On arrival, the hot water was not available, next day rectified. If you advertise you have fine dining, then it should be available at your place, no food on arrival.

Everyone was so friendly. It was clean and right in the middle of so many really good restaurants. It also felt very safe as a solo female traveler

The location and ambience beside the ocean was amazing. Very close to the town and restaurants
The bathroom door was broken and shabbily fixed with a latch. The wifi did not work increasing our costs for data roaming. The rooms were not serviced despite requesting numerous times and over 5 nights this was required!
We had requested 4 separate beds and had a stretcher for the 4th bed which was not made up - had to be requested.
