The Crossing

Wonderful property in Kingussie - no staff on site, but we had a great stay. Would highly recommend for anyone visiting! Parking on site was very convenient and the self-check in was very clear. We didn't have any issues, but the staff was easily contactable if there were!

Nothing comes to mind!

Stylish interior design, clean, location right by the station. Very comfortable bed with excellent bedlinen and luxurious towels. Seating area with bay windows. Beautiful decoration, high quality furnishings.

No staff on reception, just a video to view. This is not really a Bed and Breakfast nor a Hotel, it feels more like self-catering with optional breakfast, but without the facilities and much more expensive. There was a lack of privacy in the room which other people might not mind, but I felt it was disconcerting not to have blinds in the bathroom only frosted glass. The bathroom was extremely swish but almost form over function.

Breakfast was very good and I enjoyed the choices and the very pleasant staff on duty. The room was very comfortable despite having to cross a fire escape corridor to get to the very large and luxurious bathroom. The Crossing fully met all of our needs whilst driving from the North Coast 500 back to England

I did not like the management of the place whereby there was nobody on duty when we arrived as it is a self entry based on texts sent shortly before arriving. We were a little thrown by this although we were notified when we booked how the system worked. But the off-site manager wass very helpful when we phoned about our method of entry etc.

Warm, tasteful, clean and comfortable beds with white linen sheets.
