When I made the booking I realized that it was far from clear what facilities were included. I contacted the owners and they said this was due to the complexity of the Booking.com site. When we arrived we were told that we would be on our own overnight in the house. Realizing that this would put me in a position of responsibility should there be an emergency or problem, I had to ask for a telephone number. In the event two other guests turned up. Thank goodness only two because the 'breakfast' would be utter chaos if the house was full. The breakfast ? A box of Cheerios , bread and jam and cook -them- yourself eggs. No staff in the house at all and it had been implied that we should do the clearing up ourselves. This is what you expect at a Youth Hostel. I have asked the owners, twice and in French ,to reply to my concerns before contacting Booking.com. I have not received any response from them.
