Reception and porter staff were fantastic, however the service at the restaurant was poor for somewhere purported to be high standard. QR code menu is really not it either. Cosplaying quality for the Instagram generation.

The location and history of the property are its standout factors.

This hotel is rather overpriced for what it is. 1 towel and a fly filled room for 2 guests is less than ideal. The restaurant is grossly overpriced with staff who are unable to bring the correct orders. Room lights not working, showering not running.

Zoe Hora is a hotel with enormous potential, set in a stunning location in Dhërmi, Albania. The views are spectacular, the use of the existing buildings gives the property real character, and the infinity pool is a particular highlight. Our room was incredible, with a comfortable bed and a lovely balcony, and the spa was also good. Breakfast was enjoyable, and the terrace area deserves a special mention for its wonderful setting. We would absolutely recommend spending time on the terrace. The hotel staff were very helpful and professional, particularly when assisting us with our bags and parking. There are many positive aspects to Zoe Hora, and it is clear that the property has the foundations to be something truly special. There is work being done to expand, and this looks promising.

our experience was let down by a lack of attention to detail in several areas. There was a dead plant and a broken light by the entrance to our room, no toilet roll holder, a small amount of mould in the shower, and signage around the property could be improved. These are relatively minor issues individually, but together they detract from the overall experience of a hotel of this standard. Communication and follow-through also need attention. Our towels did not arrive when requested. We were told there would be a delay, but nobody followed up or delivered them. Similarly, we requested an ironing board and were told one would be provided, but it never arrived. These are basic amenities, and it is disappointing when simple requests are acknowledged but not fulfilled. We also felt that the atmosphere around the pool in the mornings could be more professional. Seeing staff sitting around in the pool area made it feel more like a casual hangout than a well-run hotel environment. Given the quality of the setting and the standard the property appears to aspire to, a more polished approach would make a difference. Unfortunately, the restaurant was the biggest disappointment of our stay. The prices were exceptionally high, even by Western European standards, and the quality and quantity of the food simply did not justify them. Portions were incredibly small, and some dishes were particularly poor. For example, the sweet potato listed with the lamb amounted to little more than a garnish, while the mashed potato was inedible and completely unseasoned. Coming from Ireland, where potatoes are such a staple, this was especially disappointing. The menu itself was perfectly reasonable, and with better execution, the restaurant could potentially justify its premium prices. However, the food we received fell well short of expectations. We also felt that the service charge was inappropriate for a table of two, particularly given the overall dining experience.
