Good location for visiting local attractions. Local shop, pub and chippie within easy walking distance.
I loved everything about the cottage, the decor, nice thick blackout curtains, very clean and a comfy bed.
Owners responded quickly to a request I had and were very accommodating. I did not want to leave!

Clean and comfortable inside. Quiet village location and no parking problems.
The rear access to the cottage is scruffy and not at all a welcoming first impression. Courtyard area also scruffy and not an inviting area or realistically big enough.

Lovely quaint accommodation in a beautiful part of the countryside. All basics provided re kitchen and bathrooms. Sitting room cosy although could do with another two seater sofa and the tv updating. Located opposite a pleasant pub and adjacent to the village green with the fantastic common with in walking distance were we were greeted by wild ponies and cows in the woodland - a treat for the eyes! Everyone in the village are friendly and welcoming too. Pub food opposite was great if you don’t want to cook. Excellent location for visiting places . Coast lines are with in easy reach and plenty of heritage sights to see too - Castle acre and the ruins definitely worth a visit.
The property is lovely but its location near what should be a quiet crossroads is not. There is a back road behind leading to a coach park so with coaches , Lorrie’s and cars thundering past both the front and back at all times of day and night meant we had very little tranquillity or sleep even with the wooden shutters closed and curtains drawn. The villagers must hate the way cars seem to zoom all around their beautiful village! Such a shame as if this were sorted we would return to this lovely cottage- so feel bad for having to mention the negatives it’s just we are not used to road noise like this. So if you are not affected by traffic noise we can say it is an excellent cottage to stay in a lovely village.
